Install issues on Intel DN2800MT (Screen goes blank)

I am trying to install untangle on an intel DN2800MT motherboard. I have tried via the USB key method and also tried with a CD. It pops up with the "Untangle Installer" page on boot with the Graphical and Text install options. When I select either option it boots to the page that shows:

Loading linux...............
Loading initrdg.gz..........

Then the screen goes blank and it stops. I have installed other OS's via this method and it boots just fine. Has anyone see this or have any suggestions on what I can try?
