I have an older Dell PowerEdge SC420 with 9.4 installed.
I want to install 10 to update the system, but have run into an issue that I do not have the knowledge or expertise to figure out.
The system boots from the CD and gives me the choice of graphical or text install as I would expect. When I choose either option, the next screen shows a portion of what is supposed to showing, tiled over the entire screen. So for the graphical install, I see what seems like 100 mouse pointers and the part of the screen around it.
Just to reiterate, I do currently have 9.4 installed and had no issues installing or running this version although I did install a while ago.
I have tried 3 different monitors, but do not have any different video to try in this system at this time.
For the time being I have left system at 9.4 and put it back into service until I figure out what to do next.
