Hello,

I currently use pfsense and I am moving over to untangle. I move on average 200 - 300Mbps and usage is growing. This is all day long at our one site and I am wondering if 12 cores and 4GB Ram and 60GB HD will be enough to make it happy I also have a bout 20Mbps 24/7 IPSEC traffic as well. We stream video / Audio live and I am looking to have two untangle units one at each office. All our end points are hooked up via Cisco ASA5505's.

So any input is great. I am running this in a VMware ESXi 5.5 that have X5660's x 2 and 32GB ram in each host in a Dell R410.

Is it worth it to install VMware tools on the VM's? Any info for the VMware side to help with performance would be great thanks. I am also looking at NAT and PAT and any info on how to set that up thanks.

I am looking at using openvpn for remote access into the network when I am on the road.

pfsense is a great product but I think its time we are on a product that offers phone support. I have purchased a few untangle packages and the interface looks very easy to use.

Thanks,

Mike
